Please use the Blacklist tool with caution and make sure you are tracking your campaign correctly and that you know what you are doing. If needed, please consult our support team.
There are two ways to block a source from providing traffic.
SubID Blacklisting
The first you can find the Blacklist tool in the Advanced settings of an ad. This is the three horizontal lines to open the menu.
Traffic Source Targeting gives you better control over your origins of traffic. Each of our traffic sources has its own ID and using the Blacklisting tool you can disable sources that are not performing well for a particular offer.
Simply type in the box, one source per line, each source that you wish to disable from showing your ad. Once done, click Update. The traffic source IDs are the ones passed to your Target URL by the {BV_SRCID} Macro. Please take extra caution and make sure you are only using the IDs passed to your Target URL by the {BV_SRCID} Macro.
There are other options available to adjust where you receive traffic from. You can choose to bid higher amounts on good sources, allowing you to continue to receive traffic from others, just only when it meets your price requirements. This can sometimes be a better option, as a source's traffic may improve to your offer.
Analytics report - SubID
The second option is to block sources via the Analytics report (SubIDs tab), here you can pause or resume the sources.
