What are Pop-Under ads?
Pop-under ads act like their name. When a visitor lands on one of our publishing partners website, and undertakes an action (clicks on a link etc), then your target URL will open in a new tab/window. The important thing here is that it only happens after the visitor takes an action, this helps ensure that you're dealing with a genuine visitor, and not someone with no interest in the site.
Whilst not being able to be highly targeted, when you combine the huge volumes and very low cost, of pop-under ads, you can get huge exposure for your target URL at a very reasonable price.
Targeting
- Geo
- OS / User Agent
- Carrier/ISP
- Desktop / Mobile
- Subid (traffic source ID)
Sample scenario
Danielle is browsing sites online, one of them is a BidVertiser publisher, and when she clicks a link to go further into the site, our pop-under is triggered and opens unobtrusively into a new tab/window. Danielle later sees this new tab/window and checks it out.
